This is a delightful story of friendship formed through the love of classical music. Two young musicians hear each other playing their instruments every day, but they are unsure where each other's music is  coming from in their apartments.

Much to their delight they find out they live in the same apartment building.  This is an ideal story for 6 - 8 year olds who are beginning to learn to play either a violin or cello. It is beautifully illustrated and exudes the young children's love of music as they decide to play as a duet. It is also a picture book that parents can read with their children as they learn.

Alexander Lau is an Australian award winning composer who composed a duet for violin and cello. He composed "Mystery and Friends" and has included the score of the allegro and adagio movements in the book. Young violinists and cellists will find the composition simple to play.

Violin & Cello is ideal for young children learning to play the instruments whatever their age.
