This a book for younger children, possibly preschoolers with it's cardboard pages for durability.

The story takes the young reader in and around various rooms in the home, to the park, the garbage and behind a pram, even making a new doggy friend as Magoo's owner is looking for him all over the place. .

Magoo has fun hiding, but does not own up to the mess and we don't know if Magoo made the mess or not! Magoo says he's in bed and of course is all sweetness and light when found out. This is hide and seek in a book so could appeal to young children who like to play the game.

It really is a cute book!

The author Briony Stewart is an internationally published author and illustrator of several award wining books for children. At just seventeen Briony received a scholarships from the Art Gallery of Western Australia towards studying a double degree in Fine Art and Creative Writing at Curtin University. Her book Kumiko and the Shadow Catches won the 2012 Queensland Literary Prize for Children's Fiction. We Love You Magoo has been shortlisted for the CBCS Book of the Year, Early Childhood prize.
