Younger children have so many changes happening in their lives it can sometimes be rather scary. This story told through animals and the main character, Hugo who is a monkey isn't sure what is going on one Friday. Why is everything upside down he wonders. Why are we having lunchtime at morning tea time and why do the others in my class look like they are frowning when usually they are smiling? Oh it really is upside down.

Hugo's friend Maddie the giraffe says she can help, and reassures Hugo that things won't always be this scary. Getting some help from a friend makes Hugo feel less anxious and he learns that making new friendships while helping others can help him become more resilient. We all have off days and this story shows how younger children can deal with them - when things go upside down!
