If you like to become immersed in a book quickly, then reading this story about young Nash Hall, his dad who is the robber and his mum who is the cop has to be the next book that 10 -14 year olds will want to read.

The writing has all the elements needed for an adventure to get lost in. It's fun, fast-paced and exciting, while at the same time relatable.

Nash suffers some cringing moments as his dad, whose promised him he would go straight and stop robbing people, not only continues, but Nash becomes an accomplice.,

One hot summer's day while with his mum at the shooting range, Nash walks into the shop to buy a drink. He sees the chocolate bars and he's tempted. Should you steal one and be like his dad, or should he pay for it using the card his mum gave him to buy a drink? Reading the following paragraphs you can feel the tension and the temptation. Does his conscious get the better of him? I'm not going to spoil the story.

Another time, he helps his dad steal from his school. Mrs Diaz, his school principal also happens to go to the same yoga classes as his mum does making him feel more awkward or is it a guilty conscience?   Does Nash enjoy doing what he did, does he get away with his deeds?

The story seems so realistic with plots, twists and turns and amusing situations to keep young readers glued to the pages.

The author, Tristan Bancks is a master storyteller as a, children's and teen author and an ambassador for Room to Read.a dynamic organisation that focuses on literacy and gender equality in education.
