The Adventures of Ernest the Little Tug $12.95 + $4.40 postage & packing This is the first in a series that tells the story of Sydney Harbour. Based on the true stories of tug boats and ferries, collected over the years by the author, Jesse the Elephant is the first book in this series. This delightful story details the relocation of Jesse from her old zoo enclosure at Moore Park, across the harbour by ferry, to her new Taronga Zoo home in 1916. Included is a collection of vintage photographs of Jesse’s momentous event along with her true story. Vintage photos of the ferries Greycliffe and Kedumba, in service, are also detailed in the back of each book. The last page is a “colour-me-in” page. |
